2 quads up for sale. Im selling these for a friend. Quads are stored in my garage though. I live by the Silver Bowl (South Valley Ranch community) if anyone wants to take a look.

First one is a 2007 Raptor 700 w/ Trinity EFI computer, Trinity Intake, and custom exhaust built from a local shop (cannot remember the name right now, I think it was Dave? He does ALOT of the quad performance in Vegas, big name). Less than 50 hours. Good condition, runs great.
$4000. Can throw in paddles (Skat Trak Extremes, 21" 7 paddle) for an extra $200 (been to the dunes maybe 5 times).

Also have a 2004 Yamaha YFZ450. Yes, its your old one Richie, got it running real good smile.gif All stock except for jetting. Will come with Sand Star paddles in pretty good condition. New battery.
$3000 WITH paddles

Selling this for a friend, however its stored in my garage (lame, I know!).

2004 Yamaha YFZ450
Bike is completely stock. Just replaced the waterpump bearing and seals (problem on the 450's, problem gone!). Bike runs great. Jetted w/ a 162 main and 45 pilot w/ ncvq needle.

Biggest problem is it needs a bolt or two for the rear grab bar and new plastics. Plastics are worn, but still inplace and intact. The right rear has a crack in it. All the mounting tabs are in pretty good shape though, they dont fall off!

Asking $3000 and can throw in a cheap set of paddles as well for that price (v-style w/ wheels). Shoot me a PM or give me a call, 353-5432 - Toby. I live in Henderson (Boulder Highway & Gibson). Also, I can accept credit cards through paypal, but please have the CC and ID ready on pickup and itll also be an additional 3% for the fee's ($90).

Atleast I know its not just me sad.gif

I dug into that kids quad again today to find exactly what I thought. The throttle cable was tightened almost all the way and it was cracked open about 1/4-3/8 throttle unsure.gif They also didnt install the nut that holds it inplace from the inside of the throttle side plate. Got it all fixed up and it runs like a champ now.

Absolute morons over there sad.gif

Wasnt sure where to put this so I figured general would be ok.

To get started, Ive been fu<ked twice by these a$$holes (no, I didnt learn the first time, shame on me), but I wont go into that.

I went to rejet for my buddy's brother today on his YFZ450. He said he had taken it into World Yamaha to get a slip on installed and have the carb cleaned. WOW is all I have to say.

I started pulling it apart to find they took it upon themselves to leave the stock main jet (155) in, but decided to put a 48 pilot (42 is stock) @ 4 turns out on the fuel screw (it was almost falling out!). They werent even supposed to mess with the jetting but they took it upon themselves to TRY and rejet (he purchased a Jet kit as well at the time). Needless to say it ran like sh!t on the bottom and lean on the top. Next, I wanted to install an adjustable fuel screw. Couldnt get the stock fuel screw out without taking off the bowl for whatever reason so I goto pull the bowl off and I find that 2 out of the 4 screws are STRIPPED COMPLETELY. UGH. I didnt bring my vise grips so I couldnt change that out today which pissed me off.

Finally get everything back together and goto start it and it wont start.. WOW ok, maybe it fouled the plug with the rich low end settings. Changed the plug and still wouldnt start. Decided to try and push start it. Fired up and died. Tried it again and got it to fire finally, but it wouldnt idle for sh!t. Come to find out when you give it the SLIGHTEST bit of throttle, it rev's up to Im guessing 4000 rpms or so! Im assuming the throttle cable is out of adjustment so I need to get back over there and adjust that I just didnt have time today.

Needless to say im pretty sick of World Yamaha's BS and I really wish RideNow would just die. They are pathetic. I will be going to another state to purchase another toy if/when the time comes just so I dont buy from RideNow.

Sorry for the rant, Im just tired of RideNow and their piss poor customer service. Its a joke and I cant believe this city is allowing this garbage monopoly to take over mad.gif

I picked up a Factory Pro Jet Kit from www.factorypro.com

They are a little pricey but WELL WORTH IT! My buddy highly recommended them and I do too now.

Im not sure about all kits, but on my YFZ450 it was a little more thana simple jet kit. I had to drill my factory MAJ and add another MAJ (Main Air Jet). It was incredible and comes with everything you need. It uses the same jet sizes as the GYTR kit however you dont need as large of jets because of the MAJ modification.

INCREDIBLE KIT! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Ive been debating making a day trip up there. I wouldnt stay overnight though. Id really like to get some new paddles before I go though, but its not in the budget right now (da!@ schooling!).

Went to Armagosa today. The sand was nice, less of a crowd int he morning, but it doesnt compare to Dumont!

QUOTE (50caliberracing @ Oct 29 2007, 07:49 PM) *
Well glad we could hook the little guy up with some candy. If he was one of the 1st 50 I was dishing out a hand full to each kid.

LOL I know.. He got a handful from most of the trailers. I know I was bit%$ing about too much. Remember, Im going to have to deal with the little sh!t after he eats that candy and hes spun out like a crackhead lol.

After we went out of the little circle of people, he got even more. I swear from hitting about 20 trailers, he got more candy than he did hitting 100 houses last year!

I didnt meet many people. I met a couple guys at comp hill on Saturday, but I couldnt tell you their names if my life depended on it (3 screwdrivers, 1 beer, and a loritab does me in!). I dont believe I met you Richie.

Yup, the little ghost guy was my kid. I was the one escorting him around that night.

Purchased a 2007 YFZ450 and 2007 Eton 70 for my son about a month ago (although he just got his this trip for his B-Day present) and Im hooked.

Must start out by saying thanks to Ryan & Heidi for the invite (even if it was not a direct invite biggrin.gif) and big thanks to Ryan for a ride in his sandrail, it was sick!

Dumont was INCREDIBLE. I cant wait to go back. Hopefully next time, Ill have a bit more power and some better paddles! I did see the DD.com rail, WOW! Im sure Ill be going in debt for one when I turn out of the apprenticeship

Thanks to everyone for making the trick or treat thing happen. My son was estatic about it (he was the little ghost who was trick or treating alone). Pretty cool sh!t if you ask me, Ill definately go back next Halloween.

I didnt leave Dumont totally unscathed. For whatever reason, my rear rotor warped BAD. Im not sure if it got hit by a rock and bent or if it just warped from heat?? When I get it off I should be able to tell a little better. Not too big of a deal though.
