Rules

Well
there are tons of police out there on every big weekend so you must
abide by all the normal laws. The ones you need to watch out for
are listed below.

No
glass bottles, $50 ticket (last time I got one)

No
wood with nails in it, $50 ticket (last time I got one)

No
riding doubles on quads or bikes, $50 ticket (last time I got one)

Helmet
is required, $50 ticket (last time I got one)

No
fireworks, $50 ticket (last time I got one)

All
vehicles must have a flag, no flag = $50 (last time I got one)

If
you have a truck with huge tires or a huge lift its very likely
that you will get pulled over on the way to Dumont. ($250 ticket
last time I got one) I have gotten a ticket almost every year for
this. Its the same lovely officer in Tecopa every year.

If
you are new to Dumont Dunes and do not know these rules you will
learn them fast. Id say your average 1st few weekends will cost
you an average of a couple hundred in tickets if you are not careful.
Learn the rules fast or be very sneaky.
