I had a pretty sh!tty experience with Chrome Zone AKA Sin City Chrome. Took 6 weeks to get my stuff back and one story after another. The price is right but the service and turn around time sucks.

I have new info. After going elsewhere to get chrome work done I think more highly of chrome zones quality. Their time frame and stories did blow but the quality of work is great. If I could leave a second review it would be FAIR, good quality but bad time frame.

Sin City Chrome has flat turn around times 2-3 weeks on polish only orders and 4-6 weeks on chrome orders. We do that so that we can keep the quality up for all our clients. We will do our best to work with shorter turn around times if needed but if quicker time makes for lower quality we will not. Quality is # 1 to Sin City Chrome.

Well after 4 phone calls unanswered I remember why I will never go to this place again. f$#@ it I tried to give them another chance.

I'm having the same problem with this Sin City Chrome. Big problem is: They took my money and I have not recieved my parts. Their phone is not connected and the shop is closed and now is never open what ever the time of day. There is no way to communicate with these people. I filed a BBB complaint, next is to Metro Police for the money they took. I have other resources also. I can't figure this place out! The Chrome Zone was great. Good Price and fast turn around with good communications. Quality was great since I still have the parts on my vehicle with no wear. I don't like being treated this way. I hope they are listening!

50 Caliberracing: I still have not received any communication from Sin City Chrome about my stuff and it's been 8 weeks. Their phone gives a recorded message that states "Leave a message and we will get back to you." I phoned them numerous times asking them what's the status of my items, with no reply what so ever. Every time I drive to the shop, which is an hour drive for me, no matter what time of day, IT'S CLOSED. This really sucks!
I have a question for you. Did they call you to let you know your stuff was done or did you get your stuff back some other way?

I called almost everyday, I drove by 2-3 times a week. It was a nightmare. I eventually got ahold of them and told them I wanted to drive to LA to get my parts and to give me the address. They didnt do that but they did send someone right then and there to go get my parts and I met them back at the shop around 10pm that night.

LA? I thought these guys did their own work here in Las Vegas. Were those parts completed? I still can't figure these clowns out. What do they gain by not picking up the parts and not calling the customer to pick them up when they were done? I still tried to call them everyday, but the phone is on record and of course, they never call back. Man, I am very fustrated! This too is a nighmare for me. I want it to be over, get my parts, and put my vehicle back together. I had better service when I was overseas in a third world country.

They prep and polish and send of of state to get chromed. There quality was really good once I got my sh!t back. I havent got that kind of quality since. Not worth the headache though.

It wouldn't be so bad if they communicated with the customer. If it takes longer than six weeks to get something done, no problem, it's so simple, just let the customer know! I've tried calling them, gone to the shop numerous times. no response and the shop is always closed. They told me my parts were in the shop on 30 October 08, then blamed the parts not being there on a "helper" when I called on 03Nov08. I've had enough! It's been 54 days since I dropped off my parts and over 19 days without any status from Annie Drew or anyone from Sin City Chrome. They have my money and my parts. The police call it theft. Already made a BBB complaint and gave them one last call to give them a warning. I'v already started a complaint with the Nevada Consumer Affairs and they are eager to get this one. I'll keep you posted on how this goes through the system.

LASTEST UPDATE: I called them last week and Annie must have accidentally picked up the phone. She told me my parts were ready to be picked up from the plater, but gave some really lame excuse why they have not been picked up yet. She told me the parts were in Henderson. I've been calling them everyday since only to hear that BS recording of leave a message and we will call you back. Not once have I received a call from Sin City Chrome. The Better Business Bureau sent them two letters, with no response. Now They are listed as unsatisfactory. The NV Consumer Affairs is doing their investigation next, and has the power to prosecute and close them down. I don't want anyone else getting burned. They can charge them with criminal activity. I actually had to go to EBay and purchase one of my parts for $450.00! That hurt. Rare part. Since it was listed, I didn't want to pass it up. I may have to shell out another $400.00 to get the other part to get my vehicle back on the road. This whole ordeal really sucks the big one!

Today is Friday 9Jan09. Still never received a phone call from these A-Holes! Didn't really expect to. Called them every day. Sometimes heard a recorded message and other days no message but stated message box is full. I drove to Sin City Chrome today at 1200PM and guess what? They were closed! I noticed a sign on the window stating they would be closed from 19DEC08 to 05JAN09 for the holidays and then they would be back to normal business hours - what ever those are! If you call their phone now, (702) 367-8915, it will only ring with no message. I found out more information about a lot of other customers who are pissed off about not being able to get their parts back. So 50Cal and myself are not the only victims of these crooks. At least 50Cal got his parts back. Consumer Affairs had a 12 week back log. If you look Sin City Chrome up in the Nevada Better Business Bureau, you will find them listed as UNSATISFACTORY because they never replied back to the BBB after 2 letters were sent. I'm thinking of standing in front of their door on a daily bases with a sign that states " SIN CITY CROME TOOK MY MONEY AND PARTS AND WON'T GIVE THEM BACK - -THEIVES!!! If they want me to go away, give me back my parts. Nevada Leagal say's it's O.K. to do that, as long as I don't interfere with the business. I said 'you mean this business that's ripping off people of money and parts?" Made me laugh!
