Hi, I am new to the site here, We usually hit Glamis but this year we have planed our first trip to Dumont for this new years (where pumped to check it out). We are coming out of Portland OR so its quite a long trip for us but my question is, I see California's been having some wild weather with heavy rain and flooding but can any one tell me if they live local or have recently been to Dumont? If any of the roads getting there are messed up? I see you have to cross a river coming in? or if there's any other issues we may have there or getting there? I really appreciate any ones input they can provide. Thanks!!!

the road going in to dumont is not open due to the river. the onlly way in is from the little dunes and you will need a 4x4

but you can camp at the little dunes there alot of peps there allready

Hmmmm... This has me thinking so I have to ask .. Are there people driving in at little Dumont then driving up to big Dumont to camp? Seems like theres gonna be alot of stuck/drunk campers . 2 nd question is Vendors Row going to be open? Haven't missed a New Years' in Dumont for 3 years seems like this times gonna be more challenging.........

im heading to dumont wend after work to check it al out b4 i load up the trailer and stuff, just a quick drive to look,
