its called guide coating, you do it so you can see low spots when you sand it

God I hope you meant to say sand scratches and not low spots.....

when you sand it down with a block sander you will see the black paint and know that it is a low area

You didn't catch my sarcasm in my post.... guide coat is not for finding "low spots" in primer..

i thought even people with lifted trucks sometimes run 20 but there prob not deep dish enough but i figured they would be gone along time ago yea im gonna go to craiglist next. hey did you get my IM yesterday?
